93 A Novel Synthetic Analogue of Curcumin, B7, Inhibits Inflammatory Factors Expression in H2O2 Induced Endothelial Cells
WEI Dang-heng, LIU Yang-hui, JIA Xiao-ying, GUO Feng-xia, WU Jiang-zhang
Curcumin, a dietary phytochemical, exhibits multifunctional natural product with regulatory effects on inflammation. However, the poor bioavailability limits its clinical applications. Thus, we designed and synthesized a novel monocarbonyl analogue of curcumin B7 and their inhibition against monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) and interleukin-8(IL-8) release was evaluated in H2O2-stimulated human vascular endothelial cells (ECs) in a dose-responsive manner, while exhibiting no cytotoxicity in ECs. Taken together, these insights on the novel compound B7 may serve as potential agents for the treatment of atherosclerosis.

99 Design of Pulsed Strong Magnetic Fields Generator and Preliminary Application
WEN Jun, QU Xue-min, WANG Xi-gang, LONG Kai-ping
Objective: This paper aims to designing a pulsed strong magnetic fields generator. Methods: A large value capacitor was used to store electric energy, coil was used for producing magnetic fields, main control, circuit control charge, sampling, discharge, etc. Results: The generator provided a pulsed magnetic field with the amplitude of intensity from 0.1-2 T and variable time interval of pulse from 4 s-1 min. It was not only to be operated easily but also performed reliably. Conclusion: The generator will be applied in special clinical diagnosis, therapy and other fields.

103 Cell Registration and Flickering Detection for the Complexity Analysis of Red Blood Cell Dynamics with GSM Exposure
WU Tong-ning, ZHANG Chen, LV Bin, YANG Lei
Red blood cells (RBC)' flickering present the dynamic properties of the cytomembrane. Its complexity could be used for aging analysis or the evaluation for the storage quality. The flickering activity is a kind of reversible perpendicular motion of the specified pixel. Therefore, the complexity analysis depends on the reliable detection of temporal variation for the gray-scale values from each pixel of the cells. In this paper, we improved our previous work on the screening of the horizontal drifted cells with a surface based on cell registration method and the effect of GSM exposure to the dynamic properties of the RBCs in terms of multi-scale sample entropy was presented in the paper.

109 Evolutions of Microclusters of Biodegradable Mg3Ca7 Potential Medical Implant Alloy
ZHOU Li-li, ZHOU Yan-hong, PENG You-lin, TIAN Ze-an, LIU Rang-su
The molecular dynamics simulation calculation on the microclusters evolution properties of liquid Mg3Ca7 during the rapid solidifications has been performed. Results indicated that the icosahedron microcluster played key role in the glass transition which happened at about 600 K; it suggests that the formation and evolution mechanism of icosahedral order is important for the corrosion resistance of medical implant material of Mg- and Mg-Ca based alloys. It is also found that the icosahedron structure is unstable in the liquid and supercooled liquid until the glass transition occurs.

114 The Ballistocardiogram Signal Monitoring System Based on the GSM Network
WANG Chun-wu, WANG Xu, LONG Zhe, ZHANG Ke-xin, YANG Dan
Ballistocardiogram signal monitoring system based on GSM network was put forward in this paper. The system included a BCG signal acquisition module, a data processing module, a display module and a GSM module. The STM32F103VB microprocessor was used as the controlling core of the signal acquisition module. BCG signal acquisition, amplification, filtering and A/D conversion were completed by the resistance strain sensor and high precision A/D conversion chip of TM7708; VB6.0 software was used to realize the BCG signal analysis and processing; the SD card and LCD completed data storage and waveform display; the BCG data remote transmission and alarm function were realized through the GSM module. The system cannot only real-time monitor the changes of heart rate of patients by non-contact means, and can process data automatically, timely detection of arrhythmia and automatic alarm. The system is particularly suitable for heart disease patients receiving long-term home care; therefore, it has a broad application prospect.

120 Image Reconstruction with Perturbed Trajectories in a C-Arm CT System
XU Ming, PU Fang, LI Shu-yu, NIU Hai-jun, FAN Yu-bo, LI De-yu
For a 3D C-arm computed tomography(CT) system, actual path of the scanner may deviate from the idea circle geometry because of mechanicalinstability, leading to perturbation artifacts in reconstructed images. In this paper, we proposed a modified FBP method for the perturbed trajectories taking into account 6 perturbation parameters without tassuming any condition to be ideal. The preliminary studies demonstrated that this algorithm can acquire promising reconstruction image quality even when the perturbations are relatively large. The comparison of performances among different perturbation parameters is useful for constructing a C-arm CT system.

134 The Effect of Physical Loading on Bone Broadband Ultrasound Attenuation
LIU Cheng-rui, NIU Hai-jun, WANG Ling, FAN Yu-bo, LI De-yu
Objective: Physical loading changes bone microstructure and may influence quantitative ultrasound (QUS) parameters. This study aims at evaluating the effect of physical loading on bone QUS measurement. Methods: Ten fresh bovine bone specimens were studied, which were scanned by a micro-CT and the density and structure parameters were calculated. The QUS measurement was performed when specimens subjected to loading, which changed from 0 to 1,000 N with the step of 100 N. Statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the difference between nBUA measured with and without loading, and the relationship between nBUA and the parameters measured by micro-CT. Results: While the loading exerted on bone lugher than 200 N, the measured nBUA significantly higher than nBUA measured without loading. With the increasing of loading, which exerted on bone, the values of nBUA also increased. A new parameter, the slope of the linearity fitted curve of nBUA values measured under different loading conditions, was introduced to evaluate BMD. The correlation coefficient between the slope and BMD is -0.869 (P=0.001). Conclusion: Physical loading substantially influences bone QUS measurement. QUS measurement performed under loading condition may be a new ultrasound method for osteoporosis diagnosis.
