Preparation of manuscript:
For the convenience of the editors, all manuscripts should be organized in a 12pt Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing and single column. All pages should be numbered and separate pages must be supplied for the title page, abstract, test, references, tables, figures, and figure legends. The Title should clearly and accurately indicate the contents of the Articles or Communications and should be expressed in adequate scientific terms. No abbreviations should be used in the titles.
Full address of authors should be placed below the Title.
The information should be included on the first page to give e-mail address of first and corresponding author.
We request that authors should submit Abstracts for both Articles and Communications. Abstracts should state briefly the purpose and method of the study, the significant results and conclusions (or recommendations).
Three to eight Keywords should be given at the bottom of the abstract to serve as guidelines for indexing.
Headings: Articles should be organized under the main headings: Introduction, Experimental methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
Tables and Figures must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals respectively and should be self-explanatory. Tables should be concise and exact. Tables must have a brief descriptive title and include footnotes if necessary. Figures including graphs, flow charts, diagrams and photographs, figures should be clear, 7×8 cm in size,should have figure captions, either with the figures or collected on a separate sheet. The contents of figures, tables and word descriptions should not be duplicated.
Photographs should be of sufficiently high quality with respect to detail and contrast. Indicate the magnification by a bar on the photograph.
References should be in the alphabetical order according to the first author’s last name. Reference accuracy is critical and authors are responsible for the accuracy of the references. Only articles that have been published or are in press should be included in the References. Journal articles and books must be cited by the following formats:

Submission of manuscript:
Chin J Biomed Eng has completed a system for online manuscript submission. The authors can visit the website to contribute the manuscripts online. When the authors contribute, they need prepare six independent documents: Author Agreement, Cover Letter, Graphical Abstract (for review), Manuscript, Figures, and Tables.
Copyright:
Papers accepted for publication become the copyright of Chinese Journal of Biomedical Engineering and all authors will be asked to sign a transfer of copyright form. In signing the transfer of copyright it is assumed that authors have obtained permission to use any copyrighted or previously published material. All authors must read, agree to the conditions outlined in the Copyright Transfer Form and must sign the Form. Articles cannot be published until a signed Copyright Transfer Form has been received. Articles published in Chinese Journal of Biomedical Engineering may not be published elsewhere, in English or any other language, without the permission of the Editor-in-Chief.
