Abstract With the continuous improvement and progress of ultrasound technology in recent years, its application in the field of anesthesia is becoming more and more universal. Airway management is an important part of perioperative medicine. With the progress of perioperative safety, accuracy, comfort and visualization management concept, the application of ultrasound technology in perioperative airway management is gradually increasing. This paper reviews the application of ultrasound on the evaluation of difficult airway, the prediction of the type of tracheal tube, the determination of the position and depth of the tracheal tube, the prediction of wheezing after extubation, the evaluation of the position of the laryngeal mask, the localization of the cricothyroid membrane, the percutaneous dilatation of the tracheotomy, the evaluation of the patients with obstructive sleep apnea, the measurement of gastric contents and the evaluation of the invasion of the trachea by thyroid cancer The application of this method provides some references.
